Phinney Station in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood is looking for a full-time Store Manager. Phinney Station is a two-story cocktail/beer/slushy bar with an expansive outdoor space. We are open seven days a week, with brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for someone who can start training right away. The Store Manager must have weekend availability and a flexible schedule for events, private parties, and holiday staffing. Shifts will be determined later but more than likely Thursday-Monday. Phinney Station is a unique space and the Store Manager must create a warm and welcoming vibe and set an example for all employees.
The Store Manager will be an overall support role to the team, while also bartending. Bartending experience is required. In addition, must possess strong leadership skills, ability to stay cool under pressure, and be able to pivot quickly in unusual circumstances. Managerial or leadership experience is required.
The Store Manager will:
Maintain store cleanliness
Maintain product mix to meet demand while ensuring rotation
Order and organize incoming product
Maintain adequate stock of food and beverage items at all times
Anticipate, identify and act on seasonal sales and trends
Create and manage schedules and ensure coverage of all shifts
Run payroll
Check in with employees regarding performance regularly
Create and manage positive relationships between front of house staff and kitchen staff
Manage job postings, interviewing, and hiring activities
Manage employee development with promoting principals, knowledge base, and skills
Maintain a professional work environment
Communicate with General Manager and ownership on costs, status updates, scheduling, events, maintaining POS options, product additions, etc
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure all accounts remain in good standing
Create opening/sidework/closing check lists
Protect company assets and ensure working order of all systems
Promote Phinney Station brand with 100% positivity at all times
Phinney Station should be a fun, safe and positive experience for customers and staff alike at all times. The Phinney Station Store Manager will be able to cross train between all locations and pick up shifts if they would like.
