People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally the stats are even more skewed. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.
The QuickBooks Online team is launching a new business offering to fuel the growth of growing mid-market businesses with more complex needs by becoming their single source of truth for running their businesses and also managing their finances.
We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead a top QuickBooks Mid-Market initiative. You will be responsible for defining the short-and-long term product strategy to deliver delightful experiences for QuickBooks Advanced accounting functionality, and supporting our newest product - Intuit Enterprise Suite.
Define and execute a comprehensive, multi-horizon enterprise product strategy for Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Advanced Mid-Market — synthesizing market intelligence, competitive landscape analysis, customer research, and Intuit's strategic business objectives to identify and prioritize product investments that drive measurable growth, retention, and customer satisfaction outcomes for mid-market business customers with complex, multi-entity operational needs.
Architect and continuously evolve a data-driven, outcomes-oriented product roadmap by applying quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and structured prioritization frameworks to translate enterprise product strategy into sequenced, executable initiatives — defining clear success metrics, OKRs, and performance indicators across interconnected platform modules including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, multi-entity consolidation, invoicing, cash flow management, compliance, and financial reporting.
Lead and align a globally distributed, cross-functional product team — including India-based engineering, UX design, data science, and go-to-market functions — by establishing clear technical requirements, systems-level architecture context, and product specifications that enable high-velocity execution across time zones; serve as the primary bridge between business strategy and technical implementation, facilitating complex systems-level trade-off decisions and maintaining engineering team alignment on platform-wide implications of product choices across Intuit Enterprise Suite's interconnected module architecture.
Drive high-confidence, analytically grounded product decisions in a fast-paced enterprise SaaS environment by applying statistical reasoning, data modeling, and structured analytical frameworks to evaluate incomplete or ambiguous information — leading cross-functional groups through rigorous, evidence-based decision processes that account for platform-wide systems implications, downstream module dependencies, and the operational risk tolerance of mid-market business customers whose core financial operations depend on platform reliability and data integrity.
Operate as a founding-minded product leader within Intuit Enterprise Suite — a strategically critical, high-growth offering where established product precedents are limited and success requires applying systems design principles, first-principles analytical reasoning, and creative product judgment to architect solutions for enterprise-grade problems unique to mid-market businesses; define new frameworks, playbooks, and product patterns for serving customers scaling beyond entry-level accounting solutions into multi-module, multi-user, multi-entity enterprise platform needs.
Apply deep enterprise fintech and B2B SaaS domain expertise to product decisions across Intuit Enterprise Suite's full platform scope — including comprehensive familiarity with the architecture and information flow underlying general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, multi-entity consolidation, invoicing, cash flow forecasting, regulatory compliance workflows, and financial reporting and analysis systems; leverage understanding of how mid-market businesses manage role-based access controls, audit trails, approval hierarchies, and data governance requirements to design enterprise-grade product experiences that meet the operational complexity of growing businesses at scale.
Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field required.
Demonstrated track record in enterprise SaaS product management with measurable outcomes, including experience defining and executing product strategy for multi-module, integrated business platforms that serve the accounting, financial, and operational needs of mid-market or large business customers
Deep understanding of how enterprise information systems are architected to unify core business functions — including general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, cash flow management, multi-entity consolidation, compliance, and financial reporting — and the ability to translate that understanding into cohesive, scalable product experiences
Proven ability to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent automation to enterprise product development, including experience identifying opportunities to embed AI-driven capabilities into complex business workflows to reduce manual effort and improve decision quality for mid-market business operators
Experience applying systems thinking, data modeling, and requirements engineering principles to decompose large-scale, ambiguous enterprise product challenges into structured, executable roadmaps — particularly in environments where product decisions have downstream implications across interconnected business modules
Strong command of data flow, information architecture, and systems integration concepts, with the ability to work alongside global engineering teams to make informed trade-off decisions on technically complex, systems-level product problems — including integrations across accounting, payroll, inventory, and compliance subsystems
Demonstrated ability to uncover the nuanced operational needs of mid-market business customers — including multi-user workflows, role-based access, audit trails, and reporting hierarchies — and translate those needs into product requirements that deliver measurable business outcomes
Ability to operate fluidly across organizational levels — synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data insights for executive leadership while engaging at the ground level with cross-functional engineering, design, and go-to-market teams across global time zones
Strong foundation in analytical reasoning, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making, with demonstrated ability to drive high-confidence product decisions in complex, high-stakes environments with incomplete information
Familiarity with the enterprise fintech and B2B SaaS ecosystem, including the operational, compliance, and financial reporting challenges unique to growing mid-market businesses scaling beyond entry-level accounting solutions
