Miller & Sons Golf Cars is a growing golf car and utility vehicle dealership serving Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead parts inventory operations and ensure our service department and customers receive the right parts at the right time.
Position Summary
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts inventory, purchasing, receiving, stocking, merchandising, and vendor relationships. This individual works closely with technicians, sales staff, and suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and support an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Manage daily parts operations including ordering, receiving, stocking, issuing, and returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and regular audits.
- Analyze inventory levels and purchasing trends to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory valuation and turnover metrics.
- Maintain accurate pricing and inventory data within the dealer management system.
Service Department Support
- Coordinate closely with technicians to ensure parts availability for scheduled repairs and refurbishments.
- Prioritize critical parts orders to minimize equipment downtime.
- Research parts requirements using catalogs, diagrams, and manufacturer resources.
- Assist in developing efficient workflows between the parts and service departments.
Vendor & Purchasing Management
- Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and manage purchasing programs when appropriate.
- Monitor lead times and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Evaluate opportunities for new product offerings and accessory programs.
Retail Parts & Accessories
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing replacement parts and accessories.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked retail displays.
- Develop merchandising strategies that increase parts and accessory sales.
- Support seasonal promotions and special-order requests.
Reporting & Administration
- Track and report inventory accuracy, fill rates, obsolete inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Support annual budgeting and inventory planning.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and cash handling policies.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in parts management, inventory management, dealership operations, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience with inventory control systems and purchasing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel.
Preferred
- Dealership, automotive, powersports, golf car, industrial equipment, or agricultural equipment experience.
- Experience with Flyntlok or other Dealer Management Systems.
- Ability to read parts catalogs, technical diagrams, and manufacturer resources.
- Experience leading inventory process improvements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stock inventory throughout the facility.

Pay: $45,113.81 - $60,352.12 per year
