Summary:
Assist the elementary school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision, curriculum development, staff development, after-school programming, and discipline referrals.
Qualifications:

Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Pre-K – 12 or eligibility for such

3 year minimum of successful teaching experience, preferably at the elementary school level

Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices and curriculum development

Ability to build positive school culture through cultivation of positive relationships

Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators
Salary:
Range based on the 2026-2027 Assistant Principal Salary Scale is $87,550 - $134,825.
