Job Summary
Small trucking company seeking an additional experienced diesel mechanic for a fleet of 25 dump trucks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment
- Remove and repair or replace parts as needed
- Parts runner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including oil changes
- Maintain vehicle records
We are willing to train someone that has a basic mechanics background, is hard working and wants to learn.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous Experience to include work on the following:
- Preventative Maintenance
- Air Brake Systems
- Electrical / wiring
- Hydraulics
- Diesel Engines
- Welding Fabrication
Applicant Skills to include the following:
- Ability to work independently
- Self - Motivated
- Communicates well with others - team player
- Tolerate outside working conditions
- Available to work Saturday's
- Applicant with commercial driver's license a plus
- Applicant with diesel laptop knowledge a plus
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
