Review and expedite mortgage loan applications to determine borrower qualification for assigned Loan Originators.
Order and evaluate third-party reports related to the initial loan application.
Submit applications through the Automated Underwriting System and analyze feedback results.
Notify Loan Originators of pre-approval or denial decisions.
Restructure loan files as necessary to meet qualification or guideline requirements.
Coordinate electronic signatures as needed.
Issue initial disclosures in accordance with TRID compliance requirements.
Collect, verify, and submit all borrower documentation required for processing.
Maintain and update the Loan Origination System to ensure complete and accurate files are submitted to processing.
Manage and monitor the loan pipeline for assigned Loan Originators.
Conduct weekly meetings with assigned Loan Originators to review pipeline status and progress.
Proactively follow up with support teams and Loan Originators to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Loan Originators and borrowers, ensuring prompt and professional communication throughout the process.
Provide loan status updates to real estate agents and other relevant parties.
Track loan files to ensure adherence to company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Identify, prepare and escalate issues that could delay the loan process to Senior Management as needed.
Participate in Mortgage Credit Committee meetings to address underwriting exceptions and seek resolutions.
Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines.
Deliver problem solving solutions and perform research as needed.
Provide technical solutions in support of MIDFLORIDA’s electronic services.

Possess excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills along with strong verbal and written communications skills.
2+ years’ experience of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in a loan officer assistant or similar support role.
Strong knowledge of residential lending practices, compliance, and loan products.
Experience working in a high-volume call or lead driven lending environment.
The eligibility to meet the requirements of the SAFE Act to be registered as an MLO with NMLS.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
