American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position in Des Moines, IA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a willingness to float across multiple med/surg units.

Resource Pool position within a large medical center, requiring rotation across multiple Med/Surg floors
-
Float assignments include Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele units
-
Floating may include travel to a second campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main location
-
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required

13-week contract

Active Iowa RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel

NIHSS certification required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Holiday coverage required on an every-other-holiday basis
