We are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to join our manufacturing leadership team and play a key role in driving operational performance, financial strategy, and continuous improvement within our custom cabinet manufacturing facility.
This is more than a traditional accounting role. We’re looking for a business-minded financial leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, understands operations, and enjoys partnering with leadership to improve efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth.
Financial Leadership & Controls
- Lead plant accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, cost accounting, and fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits
Costing & Operational Support
- Oversee cost accounting, job costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting
- Partner closely with plant leadership to improve labor efficiency, material usage, and operational performance
- Provide financial insight for capital investments, process improvements, and strategic initiatives
Reporting & Analysis
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare accurate financial statements, forecasts, and operational analysis
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to support plant performance and decision-making
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Support long-term operational and strategic planning
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to the Plant General Manager and leadership team
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
- 5–7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing systems, and manufacturing KPIs
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and business partnership capability

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
