Facility Operations Assistant – Entry LevelJob Overview
We are looking for a responsible, dependable, and organized Facility Operations Assistant to support the daily operation of our warehouse facilities.
No electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, or maintenance experience is required. Training will be provided.
The main responsibility of this position is to identify facility issues, communicate clearly with the supervisor, coordinate with outside service vendors, and follow up until the work is completed.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes responsibility for assigned tasks, communicates well, and follows through without needing constant reminders.
Duties
- Walk through warehouse and facility areas and identify problems or unusual conditions
- Take clear photos and collect basic information when an issue is found
- Report facility issues promptly and clearly to the supervisor
- Contact outside vendors and service companies as directed
- Schedule service visits and coordinate vendor access to the facility
- Follow up with vendors regarding appointments, estimates, repair status, and completion
- Provide regular updates to the supervisor on open issues
- Keep simple records of ongoing and completed facility-related tasks
- Assist vendors while they are working on site when needed
- Help with general warehouse and facility-related tasks as assigned
- Follow company procedures and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- No previous maintenance or technical experience required
- Willing to learn
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with vendors
- Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Able to follow up on open items without repeated reminders
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Comfortable walking through warehouse environments

Job Type: Full-time
Location: South Salt Lake, UT
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM–12:30 PM
Pay: $24.26 - $29.22 per hour
