Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) — Periodontal Practice | High-Performance Environment
We’re a modern periodontal practice seeking an experienced, high-performing RDH who values clinical excellence, efficiency, and elevated patient care. This role suits a hygienist confident in periodontal therapy and motivated by autonomy.
Schedule & Location
- 1-3 days/week (Meriden/Waterbury)
- 8am–5pm patient hours
- Potential for additional days
Requirements
- 3+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Local anesthesia certified
- Dental loupes required
- Strong periodontal therapy background (SRP, maintenance, disease management)
- Proven success in a high-producing environment
- Excellent communication and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide periodontal therapy and maintenance care
- Administer local anesthesia
- Educate patients and support case acceptance
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate documentation
- Manage hygiene scheduling
- Take intra-oral photographs (will train if not experienced)
- Communication with referring dentists and other dental health professionals.
