Backstage Salon is looking for an experienced, well-rounded hairstylist to join our team.
We are an established, professional boutique salon with a close-knit team and a loyal clientele. Our goal is to provide excellent hair services while maintaining a positive, comfortable and professional environment for both our clients and our staff.

We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced and well-versed in all aspects of hair, including cutting, coloring, highlighting, gray coverage, styling and current techniques and trends.
- A true team player who understands that a successful salon works together rather than as individuals competing against one another.
- Positive, friendly and professional with clients and coworkers.
- Open to direction and constructive feedback. We value experience, but we also need someone who is willing to learn how we do things at Backstage and respect the standards of the salon.
- Dependable and consistent with attendance, scheduling and communication.
- Confident without having an ego. We want someone who knows their craft but is still willing to ask questions, learn and grow.
- Client-focused and able to provide a great experience from consultation through checkout.
- Clean and organized and willing to help maintain the salon as a whole—not simply their own station.
- Drama-free and respectful. Communication, kindness and professionalism are extremely important to us.
What matters most to us
Technical ability is important, but attitude and teamwork are equally important.
We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the salon—not simply come in, do their clients and leave. Everyone contributes to the atmosphere and success of Backstage, and we want someone who naturally fits into that environment.
The right stylist should be comfortable taking direction from salon leadership, following established procedures and expectations, and communicating openly when questions or concerns arise.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced stylist who can confidently handle a wide variety of clients and services, has a strong work ethic, enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in their work and brings a genuinely good attitude to the salon.
We aren’t looking to simply fill a chair.
We’re looking for the right person to join the Backstage team.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
