Job Description:
To care for and teach young children in a child care environment. Maintains the orderly arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom. Protects the health and safety of children in the program. Attends parent and staff meetings and participates in discussions concerning the general evaluation of the Center's programs. Performs related duties as required.

Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in their duties
- Supervise and care for children in the 3-5 year age range both indoors and outdoors
- Communicate daily with parents
- Supervise part time teaching staff
Marginal/Incidental functions
Other related functions as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school graduation or GED. Previous experience of at least six months working with children in a licensed child care center.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal training in a child related field. Previous experience working with 3 to 5-year-olds in a licensed child care center. Strong oral and written communication skills. Stable work history. Bilingual a plus.
Working conditions
Exposure to various bodily fluids.
