Job Overview: As a Warehouse Worker at Arm National Foods, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling, storing, and distributing food products, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. This position is essential to maintaining the quality and integrity of our products and upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking and Packing: Accurately select products from inventory based on customer orders and package them securely for delivery.
Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, inspect and verify products, and carefully unload and store items in designated areas.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and report any discrepancies.
Quality Control: Ensure all products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Identify and report damaged or expired items.
Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently to move, stack, and transport products.
Loading and Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments, load trucks, and complete necessary documentation for outgoing orders.
Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and workstations.
Safety: Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective gear and participating in safety training.
Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse. Assist in other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
