This is a business development position where you’ll become the communication hub between our customers and our sales team.

Keep our sales team in front of customers while creating an exceptional customer experience.

What Success Looks Like
At Hydro Source, we don’t measure activity—we measure results.
Primary KPI
Schedule 15–20 qualified, pre-scheduled customer meetings every week for our three outside sales representatives.
A qualified meeting is:
- Confirmed by the customer
- On the sales representative’s calendar
- With the appropriate decision-maker or key influencer
- Relevant to Hydro Source’s products and services
- Supported with CRM notes so the salesperson understands the customer’s current and future projects before the meeting
Additional KPIs
- Complete 100% of assigned customer follow-up.
- Maintain 100% CRM accuracy.
- Execute marketing campaigns that generate customer engagement.
- Convert marketing inquiries into meetings.
- Help drive attendance at Lunch & Learns and networking events.
- Keep customer opportunities moving through the sales pipeline.
- Represent Hydro Source professionally in every customer interaction.
What You’ll Do
Build Customer Relationships
You’ll communicate with engineers, developers, municipalities, contractors, operating companies, utility operators, and existing Hydro Source customers.
Your goal is to build trust, strengthen relationships, and uncover future opportunities before anyone else.
Schedule Qualified Meetings
You’ll strategically schedule meetings for our sales team using:
- Phone calls
- Email
- Text messages
- LinkedIn
- Social media
- Event invitations
- Creative follow-up
One phone call may work.
Sometimes it takes five touchpoints.
Persistence and professionalism win.
Customer Concierge
You’ll own the customer experience before our salesperson walks through the door.
Responsibilities include:
- Following up after meetings
- Checking project status
- Confirming appointments
- Tracking current and future projects
- Sending invitations and reminders
- Thank-you emails
- Coordinating customer communication
Nothing falls through the cracks.
Marketing & Business Development
You’ll help execute and manage:
- Email marketing campaigns
- Social media content and engagement
- Customer communications
- Lead follow-up
- CRM tracking
- Marketing analytics
Marketing success isn’t measured by emails sent.
It’s measured by conversations, meetings, and opportunities created.
Networking & Customer Events
Help organize and execute:
- Lunch & Learns
- Customer appreciation events
- Networking events
- Trade shows
- Industry conferences
You’ll help drive attendance and ensure every attendee receives meaningful follow-up.
CRM & Sales Operations
You’ll help keep our sales organization running efficiently by:
- Documenting customer interactions
- Tracking customer projects
- Monitoring follow-up
- Updating CRM records
- Helping ensure sales opportunities continue moving forward
- Supporting proposal and quote coordination
If it isn’t documented, it didn’t happen.

You don’t need experience in water and wastewater.

Compensation
- $25 per hour (based on experience)
- Monthly performance bonus based on KPIs
- Paid training and professional development
- Flexible weekday schedule (20–30 hours per week)
