MDP Engineering Group is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for commercial buildings, including office, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and multi-family residential. You will also work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement commercial power-distribution systems
- Perform fault-current calculations and protective device coordination
- Design lighting controls and photometric calculations
- Prepare construction documents for electrical systems
- Conduct field surveys and assessments of existing electrical systems
- Interface with clients on a regular basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- 1-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes
- Experience with LEED Certified projects
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Visual, and some REVIT experience
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload and projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
