Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Child Care Teacher with a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, TCC (Teacher Credential Certificate), or ECE (Early Childhood Education) certification to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Lead daily classroom activities that encourage active learning, curiosity, and positive behavior management.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children’s individual needs and developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and classroom events to build strong partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and classroom observations in compliance with licensing standards.
- Collaborate with team members to plan special events, assessments, and curriculum enhancements that enrich the learning experience.
- Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid CDA credential, TCC certification, or ECE qualification required; experience in early childhood education preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
