About Janggogi AYCE Korean BBQ and Sushi
We are Bellevue’s newest dining destination, combining the excitement of All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) premium Korean BBQ with fresh, high-quality Sushi.
We are currently hiring for a specialized roles to join our opening team:
Position: Sushi Chef
The artist behind our fresh sushi bar.
Responsibilities:
- High-Volume Production:Prepare nigiri and specialty rolls with speed and consistency for an AYCE environment.
- Fish Preparation:Break down whole fish and manage the raw bar inventory to ensure maximum freshness.
- Quality Control:Maintain high presentation standards even during peak dinner rushes.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the kitchen team to time ticket orders perfectly with the BBQ service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook.
- Strong knowledge of fish handling, safety, and knife skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts / 8-hour shifts
- Weekend and evening availability required
