Compensation:
$110,000 – $160,000 annually, based on experience
Position Summary
A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Nursing to oversee and lead clinical operations within a home-based care environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, clinical staff oversight, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in home health services, Medicare compliance, and team management.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the applicable state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of home health experience required
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- OASIS documentation
- Medicare Conditions of Participation
- QAPI programs
- Infection prevention and control
- Home health regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of clinical operations and patient care services
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinical personnel
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and interdisciplinary communication
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations
- Oversee documentation quality, chart audits, and care planning processes
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance outcomes
- Support infection control and patient safety programs
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff and referral partners
- Participate in operational meetings, staff development, and ongoing education
- Assist with clinical operations support functions as needed
- Participate in on-call leadership rotation
