We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and help drive our continued growth.
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Estimator with experience in drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related interior systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive bids while working closely with our estimating and management teams.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform complete quantity takeoffs.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Work with project managers during project turnover.
- Maintain accurate estimating records and bid tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, vendors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of commercial estimating experience (drywall and acoustical ceilings preferred).
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials.
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Planswift, Procore, Building Connected and other estimating related software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office & Outlook.
