Janitor
- Location: Blairsville, PA
- Payrate: $15 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - flexible with schedule but must be day shift
What will you be doing?
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the warehouse and office areas. This role ensures all spaces are properly cleaned and maintained to support daily operations and promote a professional workplace appearance.
- Clean and maintain warehouse floors, including sweeping, mopping, and operating floor scrubbers as needed
- Remove trash and recycling from warehouse and office areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Dust, wipe down, and disinfect office furniture, surfaces, and equipment
- Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness around loading docks and entryways
- Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Perform other custodial duties as assigned by the supervisor
What are the Job Requirements?
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of custodial and maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safe chemical handling, and basic building systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
