Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement required.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with Emotional Impairment and significant behavioral needs.
- Knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), behavior intervention strategies, IDEA, and Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE).
- Strong leadership, consultation, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience facilitating professional learning and supporting multidisciplinary teams preferred.
- Ability to analyze student behavioral data and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
