American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of home health experience for a multi-month home health contract in the Modesto, CA area.

Home health setting serving geriatric patients, with cases including wound care and general home health
-
Caseload is measured on a weekly basis, with a minimum of 23–24 visits per week
-
Territory coverage will be discussed during the interview; travel to surrounding counties may be required
-
Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

No weekends required
-
On-call is discretionary and not required

Charting is completed using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be done on-site and cannot be taken home

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from the first patient to the last patient of the day (not to/from home)

Free residential parking is provided

Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as a PT
-
Current BLS certification required

Valid state PT license required (pending licenses are not accepted); license required if applicable

No active hits on license

Must be available to cover surrounding counties as needed

Contract length is 4–6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to complete a 6-month contract, which is non-negotiable

A tablet is provided by the facility for on-site charting

All scrub colors are acceptable; closed-toe shoes are required

COVID vaccination is required; religious declinations are accepted. Flu vaccination declinations are accepted with documentation

Compliance onboarding may take 2–3 weeks before a clinician can begin seeing patients
-
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made

Locals are welcome to apply; candidates living within a 50-mile radius of the facility qualify as local
