We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team in a shower aide position. The CNA will provide direct care to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Provide support with mobility and transfers, including using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
Assist with feeding and hydration, and monitor patients for any dietary needs or restrictions.
Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to the nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing bed linens and cleaning rooms.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and assisting patients.
