Duties:
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team on technical accounting issues
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial results
- Manage relationships tax advisors/CPA
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices in financial management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
