Tropical Smoothie Cafe's located in Brighton & Hartland MI are both seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our business, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This is a position that can lead into our Store Management position at expanding local cafes!
Duties
- Assist in managing sales operations and drive revenue growth through effective sales management strategies.
- Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security in all financial transactions.
- Support payroll processing and time management for team members to maintain accurate records.
- Implement shift management practices to optimize staff scheduling and productivity.
- Conduct inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and organization of merchandise.
- Monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgeting plans that align with company goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
- Strong skills in sales management, cash handling, and inventory management are essential.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in budgeting practices and financial oversight.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
