Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and technical expertise to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of HVAC technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex service issues related to equipment repair and system design.
- Review schematics and blueprints for HVAC systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to assess performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Train new employees in best practices for HVAC service techniques and safety measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution from design through completion.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or similar role in the HVAC/R industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and field service operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving a van or service vehicle preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
