Northern Star Solutions is looking for an experienced, dependable Construction Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is ready to jump in from day one and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and commercial construction and remodeling projects.
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation and repair, flooring, trim work, painting, and finish carpentry.
- Install cabinets, doors, windows, fixtures, and other building materials.
- Read and follow project plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
- Identify issues proactively and assist in finding practical solutions on the job site.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and all company safety policies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or remodeling experience required.
- Experience with framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, painting, trim work, or general carpentry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where projects and tasks may change daily.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Kansas City metro area.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
