Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail environment.
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to ensure optimal staffing levels and team engagement.
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling, and balancing registers accurately.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stock ordering, purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory management systems.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store traffic while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, and developing staff through effective employee orientation and leadership.
- Proficiency with POS systems, bookkeeping software, payroll processing, and retail math calculations.
- Experience with inventory management tools, merchandising techniques, and store purchasing procedures.
- Ability to handle shift management responsibilities while maintaining organizational skills and time management efficiency.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies including pricing optimization and marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or related product categories is a plus.
