Commission-Based Pay | Hourly Guarantee if Commission Is Not Met | Currently 3 Days/Week
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Junk Removal Technician to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on position involving residential and commercial junk removal, cleanouts, hauling, loading, unloading, and proper disposal of unwanted items. You will work directly with customers, operate company vehicles and equipment, and help ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
This position is commission-based, giving motivated and efficient technicians the opportunity to increase their earnings based on the work completed. If earned commission does not meet the applicable hourly pay for the time worked, hourly pay will be provided instead.
We are currently scheduling approximately 3 workdays per week. As our job volume increases, our goal is to add additional workdays and hours, creating greater earning and advancement opportunities for our team.
Responsibilities
- Complete residential and commercial junk removal jobs.
- Safely load furniture, appliances, household items, construction debris, yard debris, and other approved materials.
- Unload materials at appropriate disposal, recycling, or donation facilities.
- Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and other equipment as authorized.
- Properly secure loads before transporting materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and trailers.
- Protect customers' homes and businesses from damage while removing items.
- Work efficiently as part of a two-person crew or independently when assigned.
- Lift, carry, push, and move heavy or bulky items safely.
- Maintain a clean truck, trailer, and work area.
- Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after each job.
- Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Take required job photos and complete assigned job documentation.
- Maintain awareness of dump fees, disposal requirements, and prohibited materials.
- Represent the company professionally at customers' homes, businesses, donation centers, and disposal facilities.
Compensation
This position uses a commission-based pay structure.
Your earnings are based on the jobs you complete and your assigned role on the crew. Commission allows productive technicians to earn more as they become faster, more experienced, and capable of completing larger workloads.
Hourly Pay Protection: If your earned commission does not meet the applicable hourly compensation for the hours worked, you will receive hourly pay instead.
This structure gives employees the opportunity to benefit from strong production while still providing hourly compensation when commission is not met.
Current Schedule
We are currently operating approximately 3 days per week for junk removal services.
Applicants should understand that this is not currently a guaranteed five-day-per-week position.
However, we are actively working to increase our job volume. As the business grows and the schedule fills, we plan to add additional service days and hours.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean/reasonable driving record preferred.
- Experience driving a truck and trailer is highly preferred.
- Junk removal, moving, delivery, landscaping, construction, warehouse, or other physical labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other bulky items.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather conditions.
- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled jobs.
- Able to work effectively with another crew member.
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers.
- Able to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Willing to learn proper loading, hauling, disposal, and safety procedures.
- Must understand that quality and customer service are just as important as speed.

The right candidate understands that junk removal is physical work. Some days may involve furniture pickups, while others may include full property cleanouts, construction debris, appliances, yard debris, or multiple jobs throughout the day.
As you gain experience, you will learn how to load more efficiently, properly estimate the space materials will take up, safely move difficult items, protect customers' property, and complete jobs faster without sacrificing quality.
