The General Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Operations with our operational needs. This individual will be responsible for directing a team and executing the necessary tasks required to ensure all guest expectations are met or exceeded. Additional duties may be assigned.
- Build sales and exceed customer expectations
- Accountable for operational and quality standards for employees and guests
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Ensure new and current employees are trained on exceptional customer service and safety practices
- Conduct interviews and ensure quality applicants are hired and retained
- Forecast and budget weekly and monthly inventory and expenses accordingly
- Schedule and coordinate meetings to ensure all team members understand all policies, procedures, marketing promotions, etc.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Effectively handle employee relations and customers' concerns.
- Develop managers and staff
- Email and phone correspondence
- Ordering all food and beverages
- Administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Must have 4 years of Full-Service Restaurant Management Experience * Please do not apply if you do not meet this qualification.
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Multi-task and time management.
- Strong attention to details
- Able to motivate staff in all operational areas.
- Great listening skills and able to take directions from individuals in higher-level positions.
- Outgoing and excellent communication skills for working with diverse team members, customers and vendors.
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft software
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Manager Food Handler Certification
- Texas TABC – Louisiana Bar Card – Oklahoma Liquor License
