The Pre-Cut Machine Operator is a multifunctional production employee which includes the ability to produce Pre-Cut’s entire machine cut packaging line using proper production methods. The main objective is to produce high volume, excellent quality machines cut fruits and vegetables. The job requires a high level of product knowledge and quality standards with minimal supervision from the Pre-Cut Supervisor or Manager. They are responsible for standard food service work, including proper sanitation duties within the Pre-Cut Department.
Produce specialty machine cut products from the pre-cut product line.
Unprocessed product knowledge of each product in the Pre-cut product line.
Maintain Pre-Cut high-quality standards, cut sizes, consistency, color, and ripeness of the finished product.
Attention to food safety, sanitation, and operational safety, working with industrial food processing equipment. Cross functional knowledge of daily production operation.
Be able to work with minimal supervision, ask for and accept supervisor’s instructions as needed.

Minimum Qualification Required
Ability to recognize letters, numbers, and symbols
2 years in the food preparation / food processing field preferably in the produce industry
General knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices and procedures within a produce food preparation field
Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job under immediate supervision
Ability to lift up to 60lbs on a repeated basis
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2-4 years in the food preparation / food processing field preferably in the produce industry
Advanced knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices and procedures within a produce food preparation field
Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job under moderate to limited supervision.
