The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound logistics at the Calexico warehouse, with primary accountability for purchase order entry, shipment documentation, customer (Walmart) coordination, and inventory recordkeeping in Vantage and SPS. The Logistics Coordinator serves as the principal point of contact between the manufacturing factory and the Calexico operation, ensuring that orders are received accurately, shipments are scheduled and documented properly, and inventory and sales information is reported on a timely basis.

Notify the factory when customer orders arrive and provide the supporting documentation needed to produce and stage product.

Enter purchase orders into Vantage (ERP) accurately and on a timely basis.

Create pallet labels in SPS, identifying each pallet with the appropriate load information.

Create shipment documents for each Walmart load and provide them to the Material Handler for use during loading.

Complete shipment load information in SPS, including all data fields required by the customer.

Coordinate shipment details with the factory and follow up to confirm timing, volumes, and any open items.

Confirm pickup schedules with Walmart and request rescheduling when needed.

Open tickets in Walmart Transportation when loads are delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled.

Enter receipts of material into Vantage based on documentation provided and validated by the Material Handler.

Enter shipment activity into Vantage at the time of product departure and transmit the Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) through SPS.

Run the Sales report from Vantage at the end of each day and distribute the daily sales summary to the team.

Maintain a running record of all shipments received from the factory and prepare a periodic shipments report.

Report inventory to the team at the end of each month.

Track and place orders for raw materials supplied to the factory (LDPE, EVA, slip agent) to ensure continuity of production.

Scan shipment documents and upload them so that Accounts Payable has timely access for invoice processing.

Partner with the factory at the end of each week to reconcile quantities shipped and truckloads used so that factory invoices can be validated.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, customer service, or a similar warehouse-support function.

Working proficiency with an ERP system; experience with Epicor Vantage strongly preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter data accurately and meet documentation deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with the factory, customers, and internal teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and the ability to learn customer portals quickly.

Direct experience with Walmart SPS Commerce, Walmart Transportation/HITI portals, and EDI/ASN processes.

Bilingual English/Spanish.

Prior experience supporting a manufacturer-to-retailer shipping operation, particularly with mass-retail customers.

Warehouse and adjacent office environment, with regular exposure to typical warehouse conditions including noise, varied temperatures, dust, and forklift traffic.

Standing, walking, sitting, and use of a computer for extended periods.

Occasional lifting and carrying of documents, supplies, and product samples up to 25 pounds.
