Fueling your passion
The Tech Team Lead is responsible for deploying technician capability across the Monitoring Systems value stream to support repair discipline, troubleshooting effectiveness, work center readiness, and daily execution priorities. This role partners closely with Manufacturing Operations, Frontline Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Materials and Planning, Maintenance and Facilities, HSE, Training and Learning, HR, and Product / Technology Engineering. Ensure technician talent is aligned to production needs, skill level, technical complexity, and business outcomes. The Tech Team Lead reinforces a repair-first mindset, supports technician development and work center rotation, improves escalation discipline, strengthens technician-to-engineering communication.
As a Manufacturing Team Leader -Test Technicians, you will be responsible for:

Converting technician role definitions into consistent shop floor execution.

Ensuring technicians are used as problem-solvers as well as Daily Management delivery specialists.

Supporting technician progression through structured exposure, mentoring, and work center rotation.

Focusing and developing repair velocity, troubleshooting discipline, fixture readiness, and Engineering engagement.

Creating visibility to technician capability gaps impacting flow, yield, and delivery.

Improving downtime recovery, yield, repair discipline, and technical workforce scalability.

Deploying technician skills based on work center need, issue complexity, and business priority.

Reinforcing the repair-first mindset: “What can I repair today?”
To be successful in this role, you will:

Have bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).

Have demonstrated experience in manufacturing, test, repair, troubleshooting, or technical operations environment.

Have strong understanding of shop floor execution, work center flow, production priorities, and daily operational constraints.

Have experience developing technical problem-solving in areas such as product test, repair, rework, fixture support, equipment troubleshooting, or process improvement.

Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.

Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
Preferred:

Have Electrical Engineering degree

Have ability to distinguish between production execution issues, technician capability gaps, Engineering-owned issues, Quality issues, and equipment or fixture-related constraints.

Have working knowledge of standard work, work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and escalation processes.
