Duties
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on:
- Sawmill machinery
- Packaging equipment
- Yard equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs
- Fabricate and repair parts using MIG and stick welding
- Operate cutting torches safely and effectively
- Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools
- Replace or repair defective components as needed
- Assist with maintenance projects and upgrades
- Be available for occasional off-production/after-hours work to minimize downtime
- Support general maintenance needs across the facility
Requirements
- Experience in millwright, maintenance, or industrial repair work
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility in scheduling when needed
- Dependable, motivated, and ready to take initiative
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
