The license Clinician is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health and psychosocial services to individuals and families receiving care through iCare Health Services.
This role supports clients across programs including:

Integrated Outpatient Clinic
- Behavioral Health Residential Facilities (BHRF)
- Crisis services and stabilization
- DDD and DCS-related services
The clinician ensures delivery of trauma-informed, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Develop individualized treatment and service plans
- Identify behavioral health, social, and environmental needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
2. Counseling & Therapeutic Services
-
Provide:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma-informed care
- Motivational interviewing
3. Crisis Intervention
-
Respond to behavioral health crises
- Conduct risk assessments (suicide, harm to others, etc.)
- Implement de-escalation techniques
- Coordinate with crisis stabilization services
4. Case Management & Care Coordination
-
Coordinate services across:
- Medical providers
- Behavioral health teams
- Community resources
- Assist clients with:
- Housing
- Employment
- Benefits and social services
- Ensure continuity of care
5. Substance Use & Opioid Treatment Support

Provide counseling for substance use disorders
- Support Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs
- Develop relapse prevention plans
- Coordinate with medical providers and nursing staff
6. Domestic Violence & Trauma Support

Conduct screenings for domestic violence and abuse
- Provide trauma-informed counseling
- Develop safety plans
- Connect clients to appropriate community resources
7. DUI & Court-Related Services

Conduct DUI assessments and screenings
- Provide DUI education and treatment services
- Maintain compliance with court and state requirements
8. Documentation & Compliance

Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain client records in compliance with:
- Arizona Department of Health Services
- Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System
- HIPAA requirements
- Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and billing
9. Collaboration & Teamwork

Work closely with:
- Physicians, NPs, PAs
- Nurses
- Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)
- Case managers
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
10. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain ethical and professional standards
Qualifications
Education
-
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
Licensure
-
Licensed in the State of Arizona:
- LCSW (preferred), or
- LMSW (acceptable depending on role)
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health (preferred)
- Experience in:
- Outpatient behavioral health
- Crisis services
- DDD or DCS programs (preferred)

- Understanding of ADHS, AHCCCS, and DCS requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
