Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Super Attendant, Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and bucket operation machinery to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and tools such as hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging gear to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Perform electrical work including fiber splicing, low voltage wiring, cabling installation, utility locating, and electrical troubleshooting to support infrastructure projects.
- Execute construction site tasks such as climbing structures safely, rigging loads for lifting operations, and using mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or infrastructure.
- Engage in cable installation projects involving cabling work for utilities or communication systems.
- Use climbing gear and safety harnesses when working at heights or on elevated structures; operate bucket trucks for reaching high areas efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment usage logs, safety inspections, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring precise operation of heavy machinery like dozers or loaders while adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage or low voltage electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and bucket operation machinery in construction or utility environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical experience including cabling installation, fiber splicing, utility locating, and working with low/high voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for lifting heavy loads safely on construction sites.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in utility maintenance roles is preferred.
- Ability to climb structures safely and work at heights using appropriate safety gear.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance during all operations.
- Physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as climbing ladders or scaffolding regularly throughout the day.
