Heavy Equipment Operator
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating overhead crane also would like to have experience in front-end loaders and excavators, with the ability to safely and efficiently move materials and handle vehicles—including scrap, accident, abandoned, and recovered theft vehicles. This role requires a skilled professional with excellent communication, mechanical understanding, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, primarily crane, front-end loaders and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Move, load, and organize materials, bale cars and ability to load flat deck trailers.
- Communicate with crew members using hand or audio signals to coordinate movements and ensure task completion.
- Perform daily inspections, basic maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment; interpret and follow technical manuals when needed.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and assist with heavy manual labor as required.
- Maintain adherence to all safety protocols and regulations to protect self, coworkers, and equipment.
- Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and time management to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience.
- Proficient in the operation of crane.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, stamina, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
