Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in field service, remodeling, and construction site work. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. You should be proficient in reading schematics and possess the ability to weld as needed. Strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of basic math are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Assemble and weld piping systems as required for various projects.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively to carry out plumbing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the field service industry.
- Familiarity with remodeling practices and construction site operations.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Proficient in welding techniques for pipe assembly when necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
- Experience using power tools safely in a hands-on environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
