We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging activities that promote childhood development, including preschool and toddler care.
- Support children with their daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices while ensuring safety at all times.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment by encouraging social interaction, behavior management, and emotional well-being.
- Help organize educational materials and classroom setups to facilitate learning and play-based exploration.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; ongoing training in early childhood education or special education is encouraged.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.20 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
