Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including overseeing food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards
- Support staff training and development to ensure high levels of customer service and food safety compliance
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring smooth shift management and effective communication
- Monitor inventory control processes to minimize waste and manage food and supply costs efficiently
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene practices
- Assist with managing budgets, analyzing profit and loss reports, and implementing strategies to optimize restaurant performance
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food production processes
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills
- Expertise in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and hospitality standards
- Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination, customer service excellence, and team leadership
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high service quality during busy hours
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, catering operations, banquet services, bar experience, and food industry best practices
