More information is available on our website. The Baldwin School is seeking per-diem substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Qualified applicants should be flexible and enthusiastic about working with students in Grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. The teacher will have clear written lesson plans to execute in the absence of the regular teacher.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Implementing curriculum in Lower School classrooms.
- Providing whole group, small group and individual instruction in the classroom.
- Fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Assisting students at lunchtime and recess.
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized classroom space.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in education.
- 2-4 years of classroom teaching experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Understanding of the social-emotional development of girls.
- Current clearances for Pennsylvania school requirements.
