Horizon is seeking an Experienced Pest Control Technician or Trainee to provide General Pest Treatments to homes & businesses in York, Rock Hill, Gastonia, and the Greater Charlotte Area. Horizon is a family owned business "in the growth mode", with emphasis on providing high quality and personalized service to homes and businesses. We have maintained consistent relationships with a large percentage of our clients for many years. Proper business etiquette & good personalized customer service skills are very important qualities we look for in new hires to continue these relationships. Horizon requires our candidates to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screenings & background checks.
Starting pay is based on experience, work ethic, reliability, knowledge and work history. Horizon offers paid holidays, paid training, phone & insurance allowances, take-home vehicles and eligibility for quarterly bonuses (upon successful completion of a reasonable trial/training period). The trial period length is based on how quickly an employee learns and adheres to company policies & procedures and successfully demonstrates the ability to effectively & efficiently treat & inspect homes, businesses and food handling accounts (generally demonstrates the ability to properly "handle a route"). Our focus at Horizon is commercial & residential general pest control and we also service many restaurants. food handling and light industrial facilities.
