Lindquist Machine Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Boring Bar Machinist to join our growing team on 2nd Shift. This role is ideal for an experienced machinist or a recent graduate of a machining program who is eager to continue developing their skills in a custom machine-building environment.
Compensation
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential. Potential earnings of $38.00 - $41.00 per hour on 2nd shift.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC horizontal boring mills
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Perform tooling changes, offsets and program adjustments
- Machine large complex parts to precise tolerances
- Inspect completed work using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining and quality concerns
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Leaders and Assembly teams
Qualifications
- 2 years machining experience OR completion of a Machining Technology degree/program
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience with calipers, micrometers and bore gauges
- CNC setup experience preferred
- Horizontal boring bar experience is a plus; willing to train the right candidate
Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
