Job Title: Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Location: 3875 E Williams Field Rd, STE 302, Gilbert, AZ 85295
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour, with an additional increase for promotion to Lead Assistant
Job Type: Part-time (28-32 hours/week)
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9am – 6pm
- Friday: 9am - 4pm or 1-4pm
- No Thursdays
- No weekends

Responsibilities:
- Prepare dental chairs and clinical areas for patient appointments
- Work chairside assisting with wire placement, bonding/debonding, and placing and removing orthodontic appliances
- Take X-rays (panoramic, cephalometric, CBCT), high-quality facial and intraoral photos, and intraoral scans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care during orthodontic treatment
- Maintain accurate patient charts and document discussions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical cleanliness
- Operate 3D printers and fabricate aligners & retainers
- Order and manage lab appliances
- Keep patient chairs stocked and organized
- Track inventory
- Assist with opening/closing the office as needed
- Support marketing events as needed
- Assist with scheduling as needed
Requirements:
- Dental Assisting certification is a plus, but not required
- Customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, text, email, in person)
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Receptive to coaching and feedback
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
