As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring smooth operations during your shift, and maintaining high standards of food production and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage food production processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
- Oversee catering and banquet services, ensuring all events are executed flawlessly.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and service quality.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant or venue.
- Implement safety and sanitation protocols to comply with health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising staff in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food production, catering, and banquet management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards is preferred but not required.
