Toddlers, 2yrs, 3-4 yrs old
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and nurturing (bilingual preferred) Lead Teacher to join our childcare team. The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children 6weeks-12 years old. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, maintaining consistent communication with parents, ensuring the health and safety of all children, and supporting their emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social skills among students.
- Provide individualized attention to each infant in care with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of infants attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Maintain a clean classroom and track inventory needs and supplies
Qualifications
- Experience in daycare settings or as a preschool teacher is preferred.
- Background in childhood development or related fields is highly desirable.
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid (in-person only)
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies for working with children of varying abilities.
- Previous experience in caregiving, babysitting, or working with infants is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with parents and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude towards children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or first aid/CPR are advantageous.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
