Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Liquid Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting liquid propane to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate liquid propane delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle paperwork associated with deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Liquid Propane Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- CDL and clean driving record required.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential.
- Experience operating various types of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles, is a plus.
- Skills in operating forklifts or pallet jacks are advantageous for this position.
