Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as framing, fixture installation, and finishing work.
- Support the installation of various types of decking materials in residential or commercial settings.
- Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, and foundation work.
- Help with restoration projects includin re-decking and damage restoration efforts.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, scaffold use, heavy lifting, and construction site safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or exposure to carpentry work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of construction and reading blueprints or schematics is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights and in the outdoor elements safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
