Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our McDonald's restaurant facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) equipment, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, ice machines, and other kitchen equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, ventilation systems, plumbing fixtures, and other building infrastructure as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and scheduled inspections in our Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) system.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades within the restaurant environment to improve facility functionality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or hospitality setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical systems repair.
- Experience with appliance installation and repair in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to facility upgrades or renovations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate maintenance tasks independently or within a team setting.
- Prior experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
