If you hold an active SC SPED Teacher License with the appropriate Multi-categorical or required endorsements, your expertise is needed for an impactful contract role during the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-cat or appropriate required certifications)
- Experience with moderate special education, co-taught resource rooms, or multi-categorical self-contained classrooms
- Comfortable working onsite across different grade levels
- EC certification or endorsement required
- Flexible with supporting elementary, middle, high school, and PreK age groups
- Passionate about nurturing growth and success for each student
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusivity and individualized learning objectives
- Deliver specialized instruction and adapt materials to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor and evaluate student progress; maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and comply with all relevant policies and procedures
- Foster a positive and safe classroom climate
- Engage in professional development as needed
This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (35-37.5 hours/week) running ASAP through late May 2027.
